The calculations are based on the Hazen-Williams formula, which is an empirical formula used to calculate pressure drop from water flow in pipes. The ruler allows you to enter data such as pipe diameter, length and friction coefficient to obtain the flow rate and the head loss. The ruler was created in Israel by Eng. Michael Poreh.
